What is “Garden of the Gods”?

The site was created after millions of years of erosion carving away at the sandstone and creating the breath-taking structures that make for a perfect panoramic view.

The Garden of the Gods is featured on the Shawnee Quarter of the US Mints National Forrest Collection. Minted in 2016, Camel Rock, the most prominent formation of the site has blessed the back of the quarter.
